Carbon film has carbon particles through the layer rather than dye, so it does not fade to purple the way cheap tint does. It rejects a useful amount of heat, holds a flat black look that suits most cars, and carries no metal, so your phone signal, GPS and tyre pressure sensors are unaffected.
